MEETING NOTES/RECAP

Since we don't have a meeting this month, I wanted to update everyone on everything you need to know:

Sing-A-Long:   We are still scheduled for Friday, October 23.  I am waiting for confirmation, but we will probably be able to use Hoffman Park.  Last year, the time was 6:30 to 8 PM.  If that's a good time for everyone, we can do that again.  But if that will be too much of a rush for those coming from work, we can change it to 7 to 8:30 PM.  Please get right back to me with your thoughts.  Also, I'd like a count of how many troops we can expect.

First Aid Training:   Shellie will be holding another First Aid training course, Saturday, October 17 at the Delco Service Center.  It will be the last one for this year, so if you need your certification, this is the timet o do it.  You can register through E-Council or contact Shellie.

Alternate Delegate:  At our September meeting, we all happily accepted Nancy Connelly's offer to be our delegate.  Someone also, uh, "volunteered" to be the alternate.  Does anyone remember who that was?  I need to provide that information to COuncil, so I'd appreciate someone stepping up.

Taste of the States:   We still need a committee to organize this event.  Int he meantime, if you've selected your state, please email it to me.  I am keeping all the emails in a folder.  The following states have already been taken:  Kansas, Louisiana, California, Idaho.  If you sent me your state and it's not here, just send it again.

November Meeting:  I received confirmation from the Garden Church on our Service Unit meetings, so our next meeting will be Thursday, November 12 at 7 PM.  This will be our Cookie training, so please be sure to bring your troop cookie manager.

There are a few people who have still not turned in their financial reports from last year.  If you are one of them, please send it immediately!

If there are any questions or problems, please contact me.

Thanks,

Louise
